Seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to revamp and uphold the database and analytics ecosystem. Your role will involve crafting modern data pipelines, reports, and visualizations to exceed customer expectations. Leveraging your proficiency in SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure, Python, and PowerBI, you'll elevate the overall performance and reliability of the platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop efficient and dependable data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources to storage systems, employing tools like dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS.
• Design, create, and maintain a suite of applications using SQL, Python, and other relevant languages.
• Ensure the security and upkeep of data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Implement and reinforce robust data governance policies to uphold data accuracy, integrity, and security.
• Guarantee operational stability and resilience of software applications, pre- and post-deployment.
• Produce comprehensive documentation aligning with team standards.
• Handle periodic on-call duties and out-of-band requests.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience with modern databases, ETL/ELT tools, reporting, and analytics platforms.
• 5 years of hands-on SQL programming experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and document root-cause analysis, including database optimization techniques.
• Strong multitasking skills and effective time management.
• 5 years of design experience, encompassing established ER data modeling, data warehouse models, ETL/ELT, and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative work style across organizational boundaries.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in issue tracking systems like Jira preferred
• Familiarity with accounting and financial transaction concepts preferred
